Release Information:

When the C64 was launched in 1982 it immediately set the standard for 8-bit
home computers. Its low cost, superior graphics, high quality sound and a
massive 64 KB of RAM positioned it as the winner in the home computer wars,
knocking out competitors from the likes of Atari, Texas Instruments,
Sincl, and IBM.

Selling over 30 million units and introducing a whole generation to
computers and programming, the C64 shook up the video games industry and
sparked cultural phenomena such as computer music and the demoscene. In
recent years the C64 has enjoyed a spectacular revival manifesting itself
once again as a retrocomputing platform.

To allow you to experience and re the wonders of this unique computer,
Cloanto, developers of Commodore/Amiga software since the 1980s, has
introduced C64 Forever, a revolutionary preservation, emulation and support
package. C64 Forever embodies an intuitive player interface, backed by a
built-in database containing more than 5,000 C64 game entries, and advanced
support for the new RP2 format, dubbed the "MP3 of retrogaming".

Additional Notes:

We decided to release this cool Commodore 64 emulation tool, plus all it's
additional Games, Demoes and so on. Someone out there would perhaps say
this should be released under the Application section, since it's not
directly a game, but more a tool.

In a way they're right and we have seen the Amiga editions gets released
that way, but then again it is a tool that emulates the Commodore 64
machine, but yet it features a ton of games with it.

As proud Commodore 64 owners, back when we were kids, then the nostalgic
moments and good memories with the breadbox came in first line. Just to
make us remember how much fun it was and to be honest, then some of the
included games are way more fun, than a large deal of the games relased
these days.

That's why we choose to release this under the Games section

Burn/mount, install or use it directly from the CD menu, then go playaround
with this nice release

Additional Install Information:

If you for some reason choose to reinstall aka Modify/Rep after you have
installed the application, then you will reach the Serial screen. To get
around that, press "next" and you will get a window notice screen about the
license Key, press "ok" and continue.
