PORTAL - DiGiTALZONE (RiP)



Portal is a new single player game from Valve. Set in the mysterious Aperture
Science Laboratories, Portal has been called one of the most innovative new
games available and will offer gamers hours of unique game play.
Players must solve physical puzzles and challenges by opening portals to
maneuver objects, and themselves, through space.



This is the nonsteam (extracted) edition of Portal. It is a clean rip that doesn't
require the Steam Client in order to start the game, and includes a nice installer.

FIXES 
It should play straight away after Installation but if you get a white screen only on start up check out these simple steps for the fix 
 
1.Make a shortcut on your desktop of the hl2.exe file in portal directory 
2.Right click on the new shortcut and select properties and change the target to 
 
"C:\Program Files\Portal\hl2.exe" -game portal -window -dxlevel 81 +mat_hardwaresync 0 
 
3.Apply and OK 
 
Start the game with your new shortcut and once you run the game in window mode, you can go to the options menu and select full screen again in the video options and save your new options. 
After that you even could run the game again with the original PORTAL shortcut.
